I wake up not knowing what the day will bring. So today is no different. I received some news that at first was a bit disturbing. But not anymore! I've learned over the years that when one door closes, God opens another.
These are very exciting times in my life. The reason is because each day is different. We decide how we're going live each day.
That day may bring disappointments, opportunities, new relationships, and the list goes on. So I encourage you to embrace each and everyday.
That's my two cents!

What to keep vs what to leave when moving?
I read this article and amazed at what people keep.

Awesome Journey!
I started this journey wanting my own retail business store. As it turns out, what I thought was not the best for me. The best was not having my own store but renting spaces instead.
I not only have one but THREE rental spaces! They are all in different locations. In two locations, I have my antiques and vintage stuff. The other location is near the beach. It was where I first got started selling my merchandise. I envision using this location for my accent pieces to use in small spaces to sell.
This girl has come a long way from having yard and garage sales to several physical locations. I will still sell at flea markets, too. There's actually a fall flea market coming up in October. Please go to the website for more detail. www.greshamantiques.com
I hope to see you there!

Timing is everything!
"Waiting for God's timing brings great rewards". Lam.3:25
To wait for something can be hard to do. Especially if you have this desire stirring on the inside to do something. I wanted to open my own retail business.
But things don't always go as planned. We have to be in purpose. Did it cost me something! Yes, it did. It's a sad thing when we learn by trial and error.
Space
I spoke to a jeweler friend today. She did some repair work on some jewelry of mine. We discussed the possibility of some rental space available in her building. We will hook up soon to find out if what I sell is a fit.

Painting
I'm trying to paint a little on my own. So I seek out videos on youtube.com for help. It is fun! I can hardly stop when I start a project.
I recently painted some brass lamps. They came out okay but wish that I had watched this video before tackling the job. I will work on small pieces until I get more comfortable.
