These words were in the forefront of my mind today.
I would like to share with you my dream. It is to be a better person than I was yesterday. That is to believe and trust in myself.
In 2013, I've was believing for a retail business shop of my own. Here's one very important thing I want to pass on to other entrepreneurs. That you don't take out a loan for a startup business. That was a mistake!
What has transpired over the course of seven months is my having to lease space in other buildings. The first space was too small for large furniture items. I obtained two additional spaces after that in separate locations.
It was clear to me at that point. My opening a retail shop was not going to happen NOW! That's okay because it was the best decision.
Then came new ideas and small craft projects. That was not something I had planned to do. But the ideas just kept coming. I tried my hands at all kinds of things. There was the candle/coaster holders made from picture frames idea. This came after the chalk paint furniture makeovers and small upholstery project. Also, I used unique accent pieces to design a small space. People were actually buying the furniture from me.
Oh, how happy I was to be doing something I enjoyed.
I have a dream! Today, I'm a Marykay Independent Beauty Consultant. It all started back in November before the holiday. I prayed about whether or not to take on another business. I guess, it's the entrepreneur in me. Mary Kay was one of the greatest female entrepreneurs that ever lived. I want to make a difference like she did in the lives of others. I don't need to re-invent the wheel. Her products will sell themselves.
Now going in to the year 2015, things are going to be the best ever. I've got to push myself a little harder. My goals are to have as many Marykay parties and recruit as many other to join my team. Also sell as much of my own other merchandise online.
I believe by faith dreams do come true. Not that fairy tale stuff. Be realistic about what you want to accomplish, set goals and don't ever give up!
This is the time to dream big!

EVERYDAY IS NOT THE SAME!
I wake up not knowing what the day will bring. So today is no different. I received some news that at first was a bit disturbing. But not anymore! I've learned over the years that when one door closes, God opens another.
These are very exciting times in my life. The reason is because each day is different. We decide how we're going live each day.
That day may bring disappointments, opportunities, new relationships, and the list goes on. So I encourage you to embrace each and everyday.
That's my two cents!
